Join us for a Career and Professional Development session with the Office of Medical Education's Medical Student Research Team, a group of UKCOM faculty who work to help medical students and faculty collaborate across the spectrum of research. This session will include 1) an overview of research resources offered by the OME team, including ways our team can help you connect effectively with medical students and support your own projects alongside students; and 2) specific tips and strategies for when and how to effectively incorporate medical students into your work, including insight into medical students' availability, priorities, and skillsets. Note that medical students are eager to contribute not just to clinical, translational, and basic science but also to QI, medical education, population health, and work across any scholarly field. Join us for this crash course and then follow up with our team so we can help you engage with medical student-researchers!
