This session on negotiation utilizes a didactic presentation and exercise that share the foundation of successful negotiation. It will cover a five-step
process to prepare for successful negotiation followed by common conundrums faced during negotiation. It will help to highlight the importance of the
five-step process of preparation and how to deal with some of the pain points that may be faced in the negotiation process.
 
Objective #1: Implement a five-step process to aid in preparation for negotiation.
Objective #2: Understand and be aware of the common conundrums in negotiations.
Objective #3: Utilize strategies to overcome common obstacles in negotiation.
